International Games Week Drawing -  November 9 – 14

 

It’s International Games Week!!! Celebrate by getting out a board game and spending time with your family. Also visit any Riverside Regional Library branch this week and enter the drawing to win a board game. You can enter each time you visit, so vote, I mean, enter early and often.

Adult Craft DIY Tutorial - November 12 at 10:30 am

 

It’s turkey time! Join Mrs. Sandy will show us how to make a turkey decoration from books. Yes, books. It’s OK, you can do it. We’ll supply the books (and they’re not ones that have been checked out to our patrons.) Supplies can be picked up at any Riverside Regional Library branch beginning November 6.

Virtual Homeschool Hub - November 25 at 2 pm

 

Join Mrs. A for this 30 to 45-minute Zoom session designed for homeschoolers ages 5 to 14. This session will feature Fall Science Experiments. All Riverside Regional Library branches will be closed on Thursday, November 26 so that our staff can celebrate Thanksgiving with their families. We also want to thank our patrons and the community for their support and patronage. Remember – Books are just the beginning!

 

 

 

 

Friends of the Scott City Library

 

WHO WE ARE:
Friends of the Scott City Library, founded in 2008, is a not-for-profit organization for people who like books and libraries.
 

MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
The purpose is to stimulate interest in the library, purchase books, games, furniture and equipment that may not otherwise be affordable, and support and promote cultural and educational activities in our town. Our Friends have worked to increase this purpose primarily by sponsoring book sales once in the Spring and again in the Fall.
